Symptoms: When the vehicles Passlock (I & II) passive anti-theft system light remains lit on the vehicles cluster indefinately after the remote starter starts the vehicle.

Cause: The Rcode value of the Passlock 2003 is incorrectly set on the bypass kit module. The vehicle's Rcode value will slightly change in some vehicles once the key is turned to the crank position.

Solution: When adjusting the trim-pot on the Passlock 2003 the key should first be turned to the run position and then to the crank position long enough for the starter to briefly engage, but not allowing it enough time to actually start the engine. This will ensure the Rcode value is perfectly correct when adjusting the bypass kit's trim-pot.
